The work of the Tullamore Tidy Towns Committee was highlighted this year as the theme for the parade was TIDY TOWNS-OUR COMMUNITY EFFORT. IS FEIDIR LINN LE CHEILE. The Gaelic translation to English is simply, 'We can do it together'. Tullamore is close to winning a National Award and with some help from the whole community this can be achieved.
The float which is a huge credit to Margaret Naughton and her crew’s incredible design and work; was a magical fantasy garden, equipped with larger than life flora and fauna, colourful insects, and animals, and was elaborated by a performance of a kaleidoscope of butterflies following the float.
