Keeping sand gravel, clay and muck to a minimum reduces weed growth.

In collaboration with Offaly County Council we have devised a road sweeping schedule supported by Tidy Towns volunteers scuffing, weeding, loosening compacted areas.

The process has steadily improved in recent years and now a visible improvement is clear to see.
